Basma earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture degree at King Faisal University. She is an accomplished, respected, and skilled architect based in Saudi Arabia affiliated with the Saudi Council of Engineers. Her excellence is demonstrated by the 29 years of her managerial and supervisory experience in design and construction projects which includes commercial, governmental, and high-end residential buildings. She had worked with Saudi Aramco on prestigious projects such as King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture in Dhahran, King Abdulla Sports City in Jeddah, and Ajyal Community Housing, Schools and Mosque Project in South Dhahran.
She founded Basma Bader Architectural Consultancy and assembles a team with diverse international backgrounds making them merge their capabilities and ideas to form a detailed, coherent, creative, and excellent architectural product. She manages multiple projects simultaneously while supervising her team in providing a hands-on approach to each uniquely crafted project. She also collaborates with architectural firms which includes Marwan Nassar (Jordan), Kamal Risk (Lebanon), Savana Studio (UK & USA), and Perkins Eastman (New York)
Basma advocates sustainability in designing and building structures making sure that they are built with considerations to the physical, climatological, psychological, and cultural aspects of the project location. Each details of her projects were carefully inspected to fit the global criteria for sustainability for both her local and international clients. She makes sure that each delivered project gives an impact to the end users without compromising the environment. Her industry exposure and long experience became the backbone of the master planning and design of BBA, which manifested through the full range of the creative works delivered to fit the client’s needs and satisfaction.
